"The Measure of a Man" should be Brent Spiner's episode, or maybe Jonathan Frakes should have the strongest performance. And they're both great in it. But Stewart and Whoopi Goldberg are just incredible. I think it's the first TNG episode that's truly great, and might still be its best.

Remarkably gutted about Patrick Stewart. Always strange to feel grief at the loss of a stranger. Rewatched some TNG faves, followed by the marvellous and underrated "Jeffrey" - what a smart, economical actor he was. He just radiated depth, class and bone-dry humour that elevated any project.
