Medicare has is now taking out more from our SS checks. One of our two Medicare Advantage choices (United) is now charging a $55/mo premium on top of that $209/mo! Medicare is not getting cheaper, and it's getting harder to find any choices. It's all about the profit. United's got it locked in.

People not on the exchange will be surprised at what happens to their insurance costs and benefits if the ACA falls. It had a lot of parts that ensure policies are fair, the age 26 piece, the previous condition piece, cost ceilings etc. The insurance greed will kick in once we set them free.

The ACA was originally designed to gradually morph into Medicare for all. But republicans immediately convinced Dmfks that it was stealing their freedom by asking them to pay into a medical plan before they needed it. That destroyed the financial base of the whole plan….which is what they wanted.
