Yes but the key difference is that Japanese property prices haven’t spent their low growth period inflating away like ours have. In real terms they’re around where they were in the 1980s for them, imagine if that was the same for the U.K.!

Dabei ist Methan-Reduktion die klassische low-hanging-fruit, wenn es um Reduktion der Klimagase geht: Es ist relativ leicht zu vermeiden, es hat einen vielfach stärkeren Treibhauseffekt und es baut sich schnell ab in der Atmosphäre, das heißt man sich damit wenigstens Zeit kaufen. Wenn man will.
