If I were to abandon Trans people, I would be the WORST kind of traitor to every Black person who bled so that I might be who I am today. In fact, I would be a race traitor in the sense intended by Charles Mills wherein I am a traitor to the political project of Blackness.

Also, the whole “Trans people are a minority, don’t sacrifice an electoral victory for them” doesn’t fly here. Fuck an electoral victory, I’d sacrifice much more than that to ensure Trans liberation. No victory is worth sacrificing an entire group of people at the altar of electoral politics.
