It’s pretty wild how much money they are throwing at defeating Raman. My guess is that they perceive her as being a threat to their high pay rates and oversized budgets. (I objectively think taking half of the city’s budget is oversized.)

Some of this footage is mine. Her response that day was actually pretty weak and she refused to comment on ongoing treatment of the press by her LAPD chief. She was there a very small amount of time and was politely asking for them to leave. She demanded nothing and left before they did.
