Ireland has always supported Palestine & constantly pushed the Irish government to go further. The far right in Israel & US has smeared the Irish ppl as antisemitic. In fact, research this year has shown that antisemitism is lower in Ireland than in most W European countries, including the UK.

All anecdotal, but in 2025 it took my daughter 4 months and 10 viewings to find a flat. 2026 it took her 2 weeks and 1 viewing (she had to move as her landlord was increasing rent by 50%). Also 4 people in my office have just bought houses. Some rays of light I hope, but prices way too high still.
