Mind you every time theres an "error" she had to review the footage (top POV) then approve it. I have no idea where this footage is going and I'm not letting my body movements be trained to improve some ai detection software. Just say it's because I'm black, that's easier. 😭

I know cameras exist in any store you go to but the ones at self checkout were extremely invasive, inaccurate and I will probably not shop there anymore. If you can't employ a person to shadow the self checkout and fix issues I can only assume corners are being cut elsewhere.

So the Safeway I like to shop at has a camera that tracks your movements in self checkout. What should have been a 2 minute process turned into a nearly 10 minute wait as the poor employee had to come over every 5 seconds because the camera "detected" something weird. Not shopping there again.
