My closest friends in the world are those I met through art. But more specifically, I met them through being passionate about art, getting excited about art, being messy with art. Being human with art. If you water yourself down for marketability, your soul is going to leak out of your ears.
Show PostSocializing is hard, I get it, but if you want to run an art business, you have to learn how to interact with others. People are drawn to passion and creativity, not just pretty lines and colors. Be open and loud. So many artists have extinguished their spirits to appear more corporate and it blows.

Fat Horse No. 25 It’s the year of the horse and I’ve always been a horse girl at heart, so I’m taking advantage of the excuse to fill the world with fat little horses! These felted friends are about the size and shape of an apple, and if you have any apples to share I’m sure they’d help you out!
