The misinformation campaign includes unsubstantiated security claims not holding up to scrutiny to scare people away from it. They're also heavily misrepresenting who uses it overall.

GrapheneOS is already available on budget phones. Pixel 'a' series devices have the same 7 years of updates and security features as the flagship devices. Pixel 8 and later are the current recommended devices including the Pixel 8a, 9a and 10a. Used Pixel 8a can be $150 and has over 4.5 years left.
