see i disagree with him on this because while the pacing could have improved things wrt it, i do think it adds something to show that things like that just. happen to astarion and he's kind of resigned to it, now, as a contrast to the pig scene where the horror is all new.

I have a personal headcanon that all of the different versions of Dracula (Lugosi, Lee, Carradine, etc.) were puppeteered by the real Dracula (the book version)... but I don't know if Cazador is anywhere near Dracula's level.
