A few years after Elite came out, Angus Duggan released Elite-A, an amazing extended version of the game. He added special cargo missions, a game encyclopedia, ship purchases, and much more. Download from tinyurl.com/ADuggan and make it flicker-free at elite.bbcelite.com/elite-a/

Happy Halloween ! Sadly, I was working on something for this year but don't have it ready in time due to various reasons. So here is the Cauldron C64 based one I made years back running in the Sharp MZ-80A emulator. At least I can say it's hand-coded in machine code with no AI :)

Lovely walk around Alderley Edge today with friends. It’s been a few years since we last did this walk. Completely forgot about the Wizard of the Edge carving in this stone face.

This carving was the inspiration for the novel The Weirdstone of Brisingamen by Alan Garner.

Thanks to you both. I'll dig in and have a read. The history of the Archimedes so full of what ifs (like other platforms of the time). I don't think that Risc OS ever got the best out of the hardware. e.g. MEMC could've supported virtual memory Constraints of what Acorn could afford maybe.
