Yes! That's it exactly!! Halloween is the perfect holiday because of how it's both extremely vibrant and very chill at the same time. Easily the best holiday ever.

huh yeah as much as I love Christmas there is so much pressure for it the be a Certain Way (plus I have years of working a brutal retail job that got even worse around December) Halloween feels pretty freeing to celebrate however plus I like dressing up

Also the reason for the season is cool in of itself, it's traditionally about inviting the spirits of your ancestors and deceased loved ones over for food, carving masks and jack-o-lanterns to tell the bad ghosts to piss off, I like it more than "look at that fuckin baby, he's all glowing and shit"
