Show PostAll of that aside, any criticism of the film is forgotten when you have 17.000 extras on camera reenacting the Battle of Waterloo with real horses and gunpowder. It's jaw dropping. Who needs CGI when you have the Soviet Army in the production?
Show PostSaoirse commented that the nameless antiwar soldier should have been the emotional thread of the film and I can't agree more. It would have made his breakdown at Waterloo way more impactful rather than coming out of nowhere. The movie needs less meandering and more humanizing scenes like that.
