If we do get it rescheduled like that then I'll come back but I'll be wearing a goddamn N95 until they're ready to start the procedure. So much shit floating in the air there is always gonna make me cough, goddamn it.

The surgeon was very nice and said he could try to reschedule it for the same time as my colonoscopy on the 11th. But I've already decided if they can't do that then I'm just cancelling all of it and trying again some other time, and probably other place.

Oh hey, so guess who didn't get their damn endoscopy today? They had me lying there in the pre-op bay for so long that my asthma kicked up from all the damn chemicals in the air and the anesthesiologist decided I couldn't breathe well enough even after I hit my inhaler. Just fucking great.

The last time I had one of these was at a different facility where they reassured you that the anesthesiologist could not bill you extra on top of the facility'a flat fee, and to ignore them if they tried. But they do those procedures at this location now so here we are.

There's a federal law "No Surprises" that is supposed to protect patients from being billed out of network for services provided in an in-network facility, so I guess we'll get to see how that works. 🤷‍♀️
