Finished writing the first draft of a fun murder mystery novel a few weeks back, and today I completed draft one of a horror novelette. I have a second horror novelette to complete and then draft two of the novel.

I just pushed past some writer's block. I was so focused on plotting and world building that I felt stuck, because I didn't know the perfect way to open up this chapter, but I remembered that it doesn't have to be perfect since it's just my first draft. I just need to get this out of my head.
