Useful whether you're using coding agents or not, but before attempting a UI/UX redesign/refactoring, I've long found it helpful to have the essential logic of the UX - abstracting away implementation details - captured as executable tests. Can the user still do the things they could do before?

You don't *have* to use Jira, Trello, etc. to do game dev project management. Google Sheets and some formulas are often good enough.
