By this I do mean more along the lines of fan expectations. Like suddenly changing things that we've long expected to be the norm. This is a lot different from their s2 Mutsumi rewrites, because those happened before any promotion was done for the band period, you know?

I also feel a bit, like... I'm fine with Ave Mujica leaning into unpredictability and absurdity, and having my expectations betrayed--those are things that draw me to the band most. But where do you draw the line, and has that line been crossed if it starts contradicting past content

But ultimately it is just always a complicated feeling when they wave the idea of your favorite character perhaps totally changing from how they've been for years, even if eps 11/12 Hatsune and Doloris are the things I go most crazy for with this character.
