Still one of my favourite relic labels of all the (over 400) specimens I’ve handled over the past 3 years. A tiny label for a relic of Maurice, the leader of the Theban Legion that is now in Sens. We wonder if it came from St Maurice d’Agaune - another special place for the CD project ⛪️

One of the manuscripts previously attributed to the so-called 'St. Galler Zweigschule'. It was, however, made at Reichenau ~900.
