In Part 2 (doi.org/10.22541/essoar.15007251/v1), we investigate how grain motion statistics vary with stress history. Metrics for the bulk sediment bed (grain activity, entrainment probability) are sensitive to stress history, while grain kinematic variables (flight distance, travel time) are not.
